HALFTONE MAKER is a web application that lets you easily create comic-style or newspaper-print "halftone" effects by simply uploading an image in your browser.
How to Use
Select Image: Click the "Select Image" button on the left, or drag & drop an image into the center area.
Adjust: Use the sliders on the left to adjust "Dot Size," "Spacing (Density)," "Angle," and "Contrast" in real time. In MONO mode, you can also change ink and paper colors.
Save: When you're done adjusting, click the "EXPORT PNG" button to save your image.
About Halftone & Moiré
Halftone is a printing technique that represents image tones using dots of varying sizes.
Moiré (interference pattern) refers to unintended stripe patterns that occur when regular patterns overlap.
In CMYK mode, this tool offsets each color channel's angle (C:15°, M:75°, Y:0°, K:45°) just like real printing to reduce moiré, but it may still occur depending on image resolution and dot spacing. Try adjusting "Spacing" and "Angle."
