This Privacy Policy applies to the websites and online tools provided by AMIX Design Office (amix-design.com), including tools published under the ASOBOAD brand and other web-based services operated by AMIX.

AMIX Design Office is based in Japan.

This policy covers the AMIX main website and the online tools and games under amix-design.com/tl/ and amix-design.com/asoboad/tools/, including their language versions. The tool directories are different from the main website’s tool listing pages, such as /tools and /en/tools. Separately operated websites, shops and services may provide their own policies.

Data Processing

Many of our free online tools process data entirely within your browser (client-side). In such cases, no images, design files, or personal data are uploaded to or stored on our servers. However, the processing method may vary depending on the tool or service. Please refer to each tool’s individual description for details.

Paid Services & Payment Information

Some of our services offer optional paid features. Payment processing for these services is handled by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase:

• Your payment information (credit card number, billing details) is collected and processed directly by Stripe. AMIX Design Office does not store your full credit card number on our servers.
• We may receive and store limited information from Stripe, such as the last four digits of your card, card type, billing country, and transaction history, for the purpose of managing your account and providing customer support.
• For details on how Stripe handles your data, please see Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

If you contact us for support or inquiries, we may collect your name, email address, and message content solely for the purpose of responding to your request.

Cookies & Analytics

Main website — measurement choices

We load Google Tag Manager only after you allow measurement. Until you choose, or if you decline, Google Tag Manager is not loaded. Allowing enables Google Analytics. You can read the website and use its inquiry form without allowing measurement.

Your choice, its timestamp and a settings version are stored in this browser’s localStorage for up to 180 days. Each website stores its choice separately; language versions of the same website share it. If storage is unavailable or cleared, we may ask again.

You can change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the main website’s footer. Withdrawing permission reloads the page to stop tags that have already loaded, so save unfinished form input first. This does not delete information already sent to service providers. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.

This choice applies to measurement on this website. Necessary hosting, security and inquiry verification, including Cloudflare Turnstile, continue independently of that choice. Separately managed tools, games, shops and demos have their own notices and settings.

Google LLC provides Google Analytics. When measurement is allowed, these services may process page URLs, referring pages, browser and device information, interaction events and cookie identifiers to help us understand website use. See Google’s Privacy Policy for the provider’s handling of information.

Online tools and games — analytics and functional storage

On the tool and game pages under amix-design.com/tl/ and amix-design.com/asoboad/tools/, we do not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or Google Ads tags, and we do not use cookies for advertising or behavioural tracking. If we introduce these technologies, we will update this policy, provide information on the affected pages and obtain consent where required.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand usage and page performance without cookies or client-side fingerprinting. Hosting, security and payment processing are described separately under “Third-Party Services”.

Some tools use browser storage for settings, purchase verification or sound sharing that you have allowed. These functions are not used for advertising or behavioural tracking. The main website’s measurement choice does not enable sound sharing in the tools.

Optional sound-sharing features — Rakuno’Oto and LIMIMINAL

Rakuno’Oto and LIMIMINAL can share and synchronise sound settings between users. Selecting the control for connecting to someone else’s sound opens a confirmation dialog. This feature is enabled only after you allow it. Opening the dialog does not grant permission. You can still use normal audio playback without allowing sound sharing.

Sync information is used to match listeners and to send and receive “thanks”. Daily records are used to compile statistics on user numbers, next-day return rates, concurrent listeners and trends in sound use, helping us operate and improve the feature. For Rakuno’Oto, these statistics also include time spent and feature-use trends.

Identifiers are used to avoid double counting and to determine next-day returns. They are not used to analyse individual users’ preferences or to serve advertising.

After you allow sound sharing, the tool stores a first-party cookie containing a synchronisation identifier, with a validity period of 30 days. The cookie does not contain your name or email address and is not used for advertising or behavioural tracking.

Sound-sharing requests send volume levels, selected sounds, fluctuation and spatial settings to the tool’s synchronisation API to share and synchronise sound settings between users. Rakuno’Oto also sends purchased-category information for this feature.

Sync data on the server expires 4 minutes after the last update. Expired data is deleted when the synchronisation API next receives a request, so it may remain on the server while no requests are received.

Separately from sync data, we store daily usage records per identifier. Rakuno’Oto records sound settings, time spent and feature use; LIMIMINAL records sound settings. These are not solely aggregate statistics. Each heartbeat triggers automatic deletion of record files dated more than 8 days earlier. If no heartbeats are received, this cleanup does not run and those records may remain.

You can withdraw permission through the tool’s cookie-information control. After withdrawal, this feature does not initiate new synchronisation, heartbeat or thanks requests. Information already sent cannot be recalled; stored sync data and daily usage records remain subject to the expiry and deletion rules above. The existing sound-sharing cookie is not automatically deleted on withdrawal; it remains until expiry and can be removed through your browser settings.

Permission is recorded in localStorage and retained until withdrawal or deletion of browser data. The cookie’s validity, storage of the permission choice, expiry of sync data and deletion rules for daily usage records are separate.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Full credit card numbers or payment credentials (handled exclusively by Stripe)
• Precise location data such as GPS coordinates. Approximate country or region may be inferred from IP addresses as part of analytics, delivery or security processing. Google Analytics applies only to the main website after measurement is allowed, not to the tool directories.
• Uploaded images or design files (for tools that process data client-side)

Third-Party Services

Our tools and websites may use the following third-party services:

• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — Main website only, after measurement is allowed. These services are not loaded on the tool and game pages under /tl/ or /asoboad/tools/. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• External fonts in generated HTML — Depending on the selected design and export method, HTML generated by ダサスラ (d-dasasura) or ダサウェブ (d-dasaweb) may reference Google Fonts. Displaying that HTML in a browser may contact Google’s servers to retrieve fonts. This is separate from analytics or advertising on the tool itself. Check the applicable font licences and external-request behaviour when using the exported HTML.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — Content delivery (CDN) and security protection for this service. By the nature of this routing, connection information such as your IP address passes through Cloudflare’s servers. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures traffic without cookies or client-side fingerprinting. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — Payment processing for paid services. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Individual tools may integrate with additional third-party services for tool-specific features (e.g., maps, search, file conversion). When this is the case, the integration and the relevant provider are disclosed on that tool’s own page or its documentation. For a complete list of services used by a particular tool, please refer to that tool’s documentation or contact us via the contact form.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:

• Decline or withdraw website-measurement permission using “Cookie settings” on the main website, or decline or withdraw sound-sharing permission using the separate controls in Rakuno’Oto and LIMIMINAL. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
• Request information about any data associated with your visit
• Request deletion of any such data
