System Architecture
The Mechanism
FKGR converts uploaded still images into a video consisting of completely identical consecutive frames. This changes only the data format to video while keeping the visual appearance exactly the same as the original image.
Common AI editing tools and image generation AIs tend not to apply still-image-specific analysis or modification modes when the input source is a video file. By leveraging this characteristic, FKGR helps prevent your artwork from being casually edited or modified as AI material.
Video Format
MP4 VIDEO mode creates high-quality video using standard browser features. It is recommended when you want full-color protection without losing the original color fidelity of your illustrations.
* For uploading to Twitter (X) and similar platforms, we recommend using Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
Philosophy
The safest measure is, ultimately, not uploading your images to the internet at all.
No matter what technical countermeasures you employ, workarounds will always exist through screenshots, re-photography, or future advances in AI technology. This is essentially a cat-and-mouse game, and no absolute shield exists.
Even so, many creators do not want their work left unprotected against AI training and editing, and wish to raise the barrier to analysis even slightly. FKGR was developed as one option for those creators to express their intent and exercise self-defense.
