This is a logo design for a labor and employment office with an image of a healthy working environment.
Based on a semicircle, a road extends from the bottom to the top. At the end of the road, many people holding hands are lined up in a horizontal line.
A labor and social security attorney is a nationally certified person who stands between companies and people, providing consultation on insurance and other matters in the workplace, and improving the working environment. If work is one of the major paths in one’s life, then the job of a labor consultant is to maintain and guide that path.
The design is based on the “road（ろーど）” motif of the firm’s name, and the illustration of people holding hands evokes the image of “connections with people” and a “bright work environment. The use of bright blue and yellow reinforces the positive impression of active communication and problem solving.
I thought the logo design looked like a sunrise rising from the horizon. The color is blue, but the yellow light is like the light of the sun. If you look closely, you can see that people are holding hands and many are lined up in a semicircle. From a distance, it looks like a hopeful morning light, which makes the people look even better. The large number of people holding hands in a friendly manner gives a positive image to the design. Inside the semicircle, we can see a gently curving path that seems to ascend into the distance. The road, which is neither flat nor straight, will probably be prepared by a company laborer with a national license. Looking at the path that leads to people brightly holding hands, I felt as if the future of workplaces and people would lead to better things.
For the logotype, I used a somewhat relaxed font to create a gentle image. It does not make the specialized work of a laborer look stiff, but gives a sense of security that one can trust the support. The “road（ろーど）” in the name of the firm is drawn in the center of the symbol, so that it feels like a path to not simply solve problems, but also to help companies and people feel safe and happy. I felt that I could rely on them to walk with me to achieve a healthy working environment despite the twists and turns.
